King was brought into Hillsborough County Animal Services as a stray who had lost his way. Even though he's an adult cat – estimated to be about two years old – he often acts like a big, goofy kitten. He needs to play every day with his human companions, and he needs to know that he's loved. At least once a day, he will come to you and try to get you to pick him up and pet him. He nudges your neck and shoulders, and shows affection when he's in the mood. He does not bite or scratch, though like many cats he does like to give an occasional love nip to show his affection.
King is very clean and good with his litterbox. He's good with other cats as long as they are not "dominant" males, because he likes to be the king of the house! But he does get along with other cats generally and seems to love dogs and kids, too.
King takes long, luxurious naps, usually in very cute places and positions. He likes to sleep with his favorite person at night, too. I can't emphasize enough how much he loves to play, so if you adopt King, please plan to spend a little one-on-one time playing with him each day, and both of you will be very happy. He's a great cat who is regal and dignified but very comical at times. You will enjoy his company.
All Cat Crusaders cats are spayed/neutered, tested for Felk/FIV, have received a minimum of initial rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and are microchipped.
